Lesson Costs
To get to Driving Test standard. The average pupil takes 40 hours of instruction if this is combined with private driving practise, Private practise is advised by the DSA and welcomed by me.
That is not my guesswork that is what the DSA state.
Consequently when shopping around to compare lesson costs it is important to remember that although the hourly prices may vary by only a few pounds the accumulative differences are quite large.
By comparison:
A lesson cost of £30.00 per hour x 40 = £1200.00
A lesson cost of £25.00 per hour x 40 = £1000.00
A lesson cost of £23.00 per hour x 40 = £920.00
A lesson cost of £20.00 per hour x 40 = £800.00
