About the Driving Lesson
The Driving Standards Agency (DSA) state that on average it takes 40 hours of instruction combined with 20 hours of private practise to get a student to test standard.
How many lessons it takes will depend on the instructor’s ability and also the pupil’s aptitude, interest, enthusiasm and focus.
Our lesson starts and ends at a mutually convenient location either at home or work, or at a convenient spot in town.
Each is one step in a structured progressive learning experience on the journey to get a pupil to drive safely at test standard, and therefore is a continuation of the previous lesson.
We start with a discussion about the previous lesson with some questions and answers, so that it is established that the pupil understands the previous subject. If this had been one of the manouevres. . .
